On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the marathon kicks off in North Sydney (St Leonards Park) and finishes in front of the famous Sydney Opera House, organised by TCS Sydney Marathon & ASICS. This Abbott World Marathon Major-qualifier route takes runners over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and through the heart of Sydney’s cityscape for a bucket-list racing experience.
