Charleston Half Marathon starts partway down Kyle Canyon near roughly 4,600 ft of elevation and descends to the same Las Vegas finish at the Viper Sports Complex, a 13.1-mile REVEL Race Series event with more than 2,000 ft (≈610 m) of net downhill and only minimal uphill, built for huge PRs on a smooth paved highway.
