About
The Kuala Lumpur Full Marathon is a premier 42.195 km road-racing event held in October each year, featuring a certified World Athletics/AIMS course that winds through Kuala Lumpur's iconic cityscape with water stations every ~2 km and a generous finish time limit of around 7¼ hours. Organized by Dirigo Events and sponsored by Standard Chartered since 2009, the race attracts thousands of elite and recreational runners to a dramatic early‑morning city circuit starting (traditionally) from Dataran Merdeka across expressways, highways, and historic landmarks.
