On Sunday, 25 January 2026, the International Marathon of Marrakech sends runners out on a fast, flat 42.195 km loop starting and finishing on Avenue Prince Moulay Rachid (Avenue de la Menara) in Marrakech, Morocco, organised by the Grand Atlas Association under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI. Lined with palm trees, orange and olive groves, and the city’s ancient ramparts, this prestigious winter marathon is built for both personal-best chases and a full sensory hit of the “red city.”
