Chip-timed 10km road race following a predominantly flat route through historic town streets, parks and riverside paths with short unsealed sections. The race starts and finishes at a Race Village on Crown Meadow where numbers and chips are collected on race morning. Community club organisation and local sponsorship create a friendly but competitive atmosphere with on-course water stations, first aid and overall prizes.
