The Crown King Scramble 50 K 2026, organised by Aravaipa Running, takes place on Saturday, 28 March 2026, starting at Castle Creek Boat Ramp, Lake Pleasant Regional Park (Morristown, AZ) and finishing at the historic Crown King Saloon in Crown King, Arizona. This scenic point-to-point trail ascends from the arid Sonoran Desert (1,700 ft) through rugged 4×4 jeep trails into the cool Ponderosa pines atop the Bradshaw Mountains (6,520 ft), offering 6,800 ft of climbing, a “spines to pines” climate change, live tracking, cupless aid stations, and a celebratory post-race barbecue and beer at the finish.
