Capital City Five Mile is a community-oriented road race over a mostly flat 5-mile course with an opening climb and a speedy downhill finish. The event includes a timing chip in the race number, mile markers, aid and sponge stations, and walker-friendly policies. Post-race offerings include a Run Fair expo, food, music and massage supported by local volunteers and sponsors.
