On Saturday 4 April 2026, the Harbour Energy 5K takes place entirely on estate roads at Balmoral Castle Estate, near Ballater, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, organised by Run Balmoral / Balmoral Road Races Ltd. This fast, tarmac 5 km loop heads out along the River Dee towards the Highland Pony Stud before a gentle climb back on the “top road”, giving runners castle views and a perfect, beginner-friendly opener to the weekend.
