Chip-timed 5km evening road race through Alkmaar’s historic centre, run in colour-coded waves with a 45-minute time limit. The course passes under street decorations and live performances, creating a festival atmosphere as residents line the lit streets to cheer. Finishers receive a commemorative medal and participants can get an event-specific Brooks running shirt, with aid stations, toilets, medical posts and bag drop available.
