A flat 5km road race along a scenic bayside course on closed Beach Road beneath palm trees. Festival-style atmosphere with community and charity focus, featuring on-course water stations, baggage drop and frequent toilets. Designated waves accommodate prams and wheelchairs and paced waves are available; all finishers receive a medal and early registrants receive the event shirt.
