Support for Cristal & Chad Porter

Hello Austin community,

I am sharing something that has hit very close to home for many of us this past week. Last Saturday, one of our community members, Chad Porter, was struck by a city bus while running alongside his wife, Cristal, in downtown Austin.

Miraculously, Chad is expected to recover, but it will be a long road due to the serious, life-altering injuries that he sustained from the accident.

Chad and Cristal have been running with Endorphins in Austin for as long as I can remember. Cristal is one of our pace leaders for Saturday long runs and has shown up for this community in more ways than I can count. Now, we’re asking our community to show up for them and their family.
