Saturday’s Run with Miles Ahead PT

…IS STILL ON!!

(With a later start at 10a in Southie)

Yes, it’ll be wicked cold tomorrow, but that also means that all the treadmills at your gym will be full. So might as well join us where the miles are always open!

**if you want to skip the run, feel free to meet us at Publico at 10:45a, to hang out, chat with a PT, and enjoy some brunch**

If you do want to brave the weather with us in the morning, here are my favorite cold-running tips from a native New Englander that refuses to treadmill:
1. Hat and gloves are a must! The blood rushes towards our core to keep our vital organs warm (how dramatic, right?), so that leaves your extremities vulnerable. Keep those hands warm!
2. Layer, layer, layer! Every layer of clothing you stack also means an extra layer of air in-between. Did you know that air is actually a great insulator? More layers of clothes = more layers of air = more insulation!
3. Aquaphor / Vaseline! If you’re going to have some skin exposed (think cheeks, tip of the nose, etc.), then throw some petroleum jelly on there as a neat way to get some extra insulation. You’ll be surprised by how well it cuts the wind on your face.

If you have any other questions, drop them here! Otherwise, we can’t wait to see you tomorrow (and Monday morning for a blizzard run 😈☃️)
