Peroneal Tendonitis

Hello! I didn’t train for 3 weeks then went for a 5 mile run and think I gave myself a minor case of peroneal tendonitis based on the movement of the discomfort. I haven’t run for 7 days and it seems to be subsiding. I am starting training for London this week so this didn’t come at a great time but any recommendations on how to prevent this pain moving forward and any warm up recommendations would be great! 

It started with a sudden initial pain in my foot at the end of the run and has subsided to tightness and tingling feelings in my foot!
