Option to add a run?

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to this app. Quick question for y'all. Is there an option to manually add a run? 
So if I wasn't supposed to run today, but I did how can I add that into my training plan? Or if I ran 6 miles instead of 4. How can I make sure that's logged on here? 
Any advice is welcomed. Thank you!
