Endorphins is a nationwide running community that hosts over 1,500 free group runs each year. We’ve built cutting-edge training technology, launched our own first-party performance apparel, and—despite being spread across different cities—we’re united by one mission: to spread positivity and happiness through movement and exercise!
Here is the agenda for this week's announcement:
- Free Barry's class (details below)
- Medal Monday in CHI
- Race week in Philly (LFG)
- App updates (pacing and watches)
- MORE NB Review Programs! (AYYY)
- No giveaway this week (we have DM'd dozens of winners from the past few weeks!)

Medal Monday CHI --> Race Week in Philly!
One race weekend always leads right into the next! Over the weekend we had an incredible series of events in Chicago as we had 50+ members run in the Shamrock Shuffle. Thanks to our community photographers (Nina, Vikalp, Soria) who came out and documented the race day vibes! You can peep some of the incredible photos on our IG here!
Andddd... on this note. We have a race weekend in Philly. Good luck to all members in the Philly Love Run this weekend. We have a shakeout planned that you can RSVP to here.
Details: Sat March 29th - 10AM - Rocky Steps
App Updates (lots cooking!!)
We are cooking. Thank you to the thousands of members who have been submitting feedback to help us improve both the community and training experience. It is remarkable to think the app has only been available for 8 weeks. It will be really cool to see it continue to evolve in the future!!
Roadmap: our roadmap is updated and public for everyone to see! This is a live shot into the things our team is working on. We are sharing this so you can see which suggestions / feedback is being implemented! Feel free to take a look at it here! (if you do have feedback or feature suggestions, inside the profile settings tab there is a button to submit ideas or bugs, feel free to let us know whats on your mind and we will do our best to implement your suggestions!!)
Our training technology is becoming extremely advanced! (if you do not have access yet, feel free to head to the training tab in the center of the app and join the waitlist, we are slowly pulling members off the waitlist every week!!)
Pacing Optimizations
With the help of 500 beta testers we conducted a pace study to analyze training zones + estimated race times based on experience levels and real activity data. With the feedback provided we delivered a plan update to all users that should make pacing suggestions extremely precise down to the second!
Device Integrations
In the month of April we will be spending time focusing on device integrations!
Right now, we use Strava as our main source for activity data. While it’s great for tracking workouts, it doesn’t give us the full picture when it comes to rest, recovery, and daily health metrics—which are crucial for delivering smarter, more accurate training recommendations. That’s why we’re working directly with Garmin, Coros, and hopefully Apple to integrate with their devices and pull in more comprehensive data.
Once these integrations are live, we’ll have a more holistic view of your training cycle—allowing us to make hyper-personalized suggestions to help you reach your race day goals.
For example: if we notice your resting heart rate was elevated during sleep, we can alert you and recommend adjusting the intensity of your next workout to prioritize recovery.
Let us know in the comments which devices we should prioritize!

New Balance Review Program!
As part of our relationship with New Balance we get to participate in something called a review program. The TLDR; New Balance will send different (sometimes unreleased) products to members of Endorphins in return for honest and genuine feedback. This feedback is then taken back to the product team and shown publicly on newbalance.com to help both NB create better products and help future consumers decide what products to purchase.
Since the beginning of the year, thousands of items have been sent out to Endorphins members!! In order to continue doing review programs we must retain an 80% review rate - so if you are selected to receive an item, please please make sure to submit a review so we can keep up the vibes!
Late last week - NB sent out Hats and Shorts to various Endorphins members from across the world. You will be receiving an email from me with details on how you can review your item!!
Disclaimer - we do not have visibility into tracking. If you receive an email letting you know are part of a review program but don't receive the product due to a shipping issue - it will be difficult for us to track it down. Also - if an item doesn't fit you there is very little we can do to support a change in size. This rarely happens but we do receive emails about this and want to make sure its clear moving forward!!
Hope you all have an awesome week!
Only the best,
Tyler
