Cold/respiratory... Missed runs :(
Hello friends!!! I started strong into the program and like the way the setup works and the info on runs, etc...
Unfortunately I got a cold last week, kept running and got a lot worse so took a break. Today cough is worse and my voice is GONE completely and I'm running the NYC half on Sunday - I missed my last long run (should have been Sat) and haven't run since Thurs 😔
Any suggestions or advice? This is my first actual half/real race (the NYC half Sunday) and I'm so nervous now. Also, I'm not sure what to do with the training plan/missed runs (try and catch up? Skip?)
P. S. I'm planning to run tomorrow even tho I won't be 100% yet bc I feel like I'll go crazy... But idk what I should try for in terms of how long, etc
