Can I still run a half with a break in my training plan?

I started a 15 week training plan for my third half marathon on March 16th. The plan started on Dec 2nd, but my last run was February 1st due to an injury. My check up is on Feb 25th, if I'm cleared to train again, do you think I could still do the half on March 16th? Should I switch to the 10k?
