I have been running a long time. Probably since chasing my dog as a child. Now I'm well definitely older but in the past 2 years started paying attention more to speed again and did a few marathons. I think I like the physical endurance aspect and challenge but also running and exploring as well. Hills make you stronger for one! Don't avoid them. Push through them. Run any time of day. Anywhere.
I mainly run by myself but remember my competitive nature when I run with others. Honest.
