Weekly Announcement - 1/13/25 - App Release Saturday Jan 18th!!!, NB Review Program, & Support for LA

What a start to the year it has been!!
Welcome to the 150 people who joined the Endorphins community in the past week across the country. Our collective mission is to spread positivity and happiness through movement and exercise! We do this each and every week by hosting 25+ group runs across the US! Whether you live in one of our 11 cities or are a virtual member, we are all united by our mission!
We have a lot going down in the world of Endorphins this week. We will get right into it!
App Release Scheduled for Saturday January 18th!
Over the past few months, we have been discussing the release of the Endorphins App and we are super proud to announce that this Saturday, January 18th, the app will be available for Endorphins members to download and use in both the Apple and Google Play app stores!
This has been an incredible community initiative. Over the past several months a handful of Engineers from within the Endorphins community have stepped up to help code the initial version of the app! Endorphins prides itself on being a community led initiative and the fact that this app has been built and tested by members of the community speaks to the power of our grass root collective!!
What is included in the app?
All 1500 events we will host in 2025 will be run through the app
Community Spaces - very similar to Circle where you can communicate with other members in both our global and city specific threads!
Race Chats - we will be moving away from WhatsApp so members can communicate without any spam or limitations
Leaderboards - we will have weekly challenges similar to Strava with our partners like New Balance where you can earn prizes for engaging with the community
Training - all training programs will be delivered within the app. We have partnered with Strava to integrate real time activity data to offer hyper personalized training plans to all of our members.
Initially this will be in a private beta for City Leads, Pace leads, and members of Endorphins 365. Once the beta is complete, we will open it up for purchase for anyone in the community to participate for fall race season!
What will happen to circle?
Circle will remain available for use through the end of January. You will be able to access posts, threads, and any other account level information up until February 1st. Once January ends, we will turn off of Circle and the new Endorphins app will be the primary place to see event information and any other communications from Endorphins!
What email should I use when I download the new app?
We have migrated ALL circle data into the new app. This means if you have an existing circle account, you can login to the new app with the email you use to access circle!
Support For LA
Our hearts go out to everyone in our Endorphins community and beyond who has been affected by the recent devastating events in Los Angeles. During these difficult times, it's more important than ever to come together and provide support, comfort, and resources to those in need.
To help, our incredible LA City Leads have stepped up and organized several resources designed to rally the entire Endorphins community in support of not just our members, but anyone impacted by the fires. These initiatives aim to offer relief, extend kindness, and help rebuild hope for those facing these challenges.

In many of our cities this week, you may see call to actions in event descriptions or events showing support for LA. As a community lets rally behind Los Angeles and show our unwavering support during these difficult times.
NB Review Program
Last week we announced our 2025 Review Program with New Balance. Today is the last day to register to be involved.
For more context, New Balance provides our community with unreleased shoes and apparel in exchange for your honest feedback. This is your chance to test out cutting-edge products before anyone else and share your thoughts directly with the NB team. You have a say in the future product NB creates. Your reviews will also help other runners decide what gear to potentially purchase. It's really special to work with a brand that shares the same community first values as Endorphins!
