So Others Might Eat (SOME) Event

Hi Everyone - Quick non-running post! I am on the board of the Young Professionals Network for SOME and they are hosting a holiday shoebox sorting event this Saturday from 1-3pm.

Every holiday season, SOME distributes a shoebox gift to clients ranging from dining room guests to those in their housing programs. Shoebox gifts are shoeboxes decorated for the holidays and filled with clothing and essential hygiene items like scarves, hats, socks, basic toiletries, etc. The shoeboxes are donated by the community and SOME ensures that each box has the necessary items.
