Running Shoe Rotation

Hey so I’ve been running about 5 years now and for the first 4 of those years I would just use whatever shoe was on sale and in my size. About a year ago I went to a running store and got shoes that were more specialized for me. However I was using one pair of shoes (ASICS GT 2000) for every run for a few months until they felt worn out (about 350-400 miles) and would be a new pair and repeat. Should I keep doing what I’m doing or would it be beneficial to get multiple pairs of shoes to build up a rotation? Im trying to keep costs down but also am willing to spend a little more of it is better for my overall joint and muscle health.
