Severe IT Band Pain

Hi all,

I am coming to the end of my half-marathon training (ran a mock 13.1 two weeks ago and now tapering / doing speed workouts) and I am in the most debilitating IT band pain. I ran 10 miles last weekend and felt great but as soon as I stopped my knees felt like they had been hit with a bat along the outside. I have been rolling and massaging so now I walk with no pain and can go up the stairs, but every time I run it comes back. Any advice?

I am running the Miami Half in 3 weeks and really have worked hard to get to the pace/fitness I am at now.
