  • Funny running memory / story: Seeing the finish line to the NYC Marathon was a powerful feeling. I don’t really cry. I’m really weird. But, this was one of the few times I had tears because I did something I NEVER thought I would get myself to commit to and consistently train for. It was a huge confidence booster among anything.

  • Anything else you'd like to share: I was totally looking for some running clubs after I finished my first marathon in 2023. I had been trainning using Nike Run Club’s guided runs with Coach Bennett, which honestly was totally awesome content for self-trainning. I went from dreading anything over 3 miles to looking forward to a 10-mile run on Christmas Day. After running the NYC Marathon in 2023, I wanted more community in my life, I figured the best way was to find running clubs. I found a list of a bunch in Brooklyn, but none of them really got the vibe I was looking for. I went to visit friends from Los Angeles, where I grew up for a bit, and remember seeing an awesome bunch runners to the beach in Santa Monica at sunset. I thought to myself “that’s the type of group I wanted to be a part of.” This group seems to have match that. Nervously excited to get out to one of these events. I’m also looking forward to the group because I went to school in Austin, Texas (Hook’em) and saw that there was some sort of collaboration with Fleet Feet, a dope running store with cool runners that work there and who were super helpful. When I saw that Fleet Feet stuff associated with Endorphins, I was like, “this might be a tight group.” Anyways, enough of my blabbing. See you guys! God, I’m so slow tho.
