Wear Red Day Run (Tonight)

Hi friends, happy Friday!

As some of you know, I work for the American Heart Association and February is American Heart Month! A month to come together and raise awareness for cardiovascular disease, our #1 killer.

Today specifically, is National Wear Red Day, where the AHA and Go Red for Women (little plug for the campaign I work on) encourages everyone to wear red to spread that awareness and show support for the women in your life, as CVD causes 1 in 3 deaths in women each year.

There are a handful of Chicago monuments/buildings lighting up red this evening for this reason, and so I thought what a great opportunity to get a run in, bop around the city to see all the red, and spread awareness about your heart health.

SO! I know it’s last minute, but if you would like, join me and @Nick Romito on a run around the city this evening for some vibesssss. We will most likely end our run with tacos and or pizza. 😄 I encourage anyone joining to wear RED. tysm.

Start location: Castaways

Start Time: Tonight @ 6:00pm

Stops will include: The Drake (where AHA was founded at), 900 Shops Mall, John Hancock Center, Wrigley Building, Merchandise Mart, Willis Tower, 300 S. Riverside Plaza (AHA office), Chicago Board of Trade, and Solder Field.
