Slight tendon moving / popping near ankle
Recently I was stretching my left calf and found that when I pushed far enough (not to the point of pain) I got a slight popping on the inner side of the left leg 2 inches above my ankle and 1inch towards the back of the calf. It felt like a muscle or tendon was shifting over something (another bone or muscle maybe?). Kind of like a double joint feels.
To be clear, I do not have any pain and there isn’t a popping sound (just the feeling). I can still walk fine, I can stand on one leg, and I can stand on one leg and go up on tippy toes without any pain.
For context, I’ve been running almost everyday most of which are slow-ish runs (like 25-30miles in total per week). I’ve had discomfort in my left knee before but that seems to be fine these days. I plan to take a day or two off to rest. But wasn’t sure if I should be more worried about this and see a doctor? Has anyone had this issue/feeling before?
