Hello :) my name is Chiara, I’m 23, and I am Italian but grew up in Spain and have been living in the US now for nearly 6 years! I graduated from Hamilton College with a math major and physics and CS minor in 2022, and am now working in Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve been casually running (no more than 15 miles in one week) since high school, but ran my first marathon in May 2022 (the Pittsburgh marathon) and have absolutely fallen in love with the distance ever since!! Despite living in Pittsburgh, I visit NYC quite frequently, and have been trying to push myself outside my comfort zone and join a running group to run with while I’m here and training for my next marathon. Some random facts about me: I’m an absolute peanut butter ADDICT, love reading non-fiction books, especially on math, physics, and AI, and always get so excited anytime I run by a chipmunk or squirrel. I’m hoping to run my first group run with you all this Saturday, pushing myself outside my comfort zone, meet new people, and have fun :)
