Paul Johnson Transcon run

Hello friends! I’ve only been on one run with the Chicago crew but I absolutely loved it and the people that I’ve met so far and look forward to many more events and runs coming up!

I was wondering if anybody else has been following along with the transcontinental run that Paul Johnson has been doing from LA to New York? Basically, this guy is running 3000 miles in 50 days to raise money for team RWB which benefits and raises money for veterans resources and mental health.

Anyways, I know that the route goes through Illinois at some point and was thinking it would be kind of cool to get a group together and carpool down to run a couple miles along side this guy. I don’t really know all of the logistics, but if there are enough people that want to do it, I would look into the details further and see when and where he will be passing through. I just think it would be a really cool experience!
