Left hip pain
Hello!
I started running not long ago and everything seemed to be going well, I ran 5 miles about two weeks ago and then the next day I ran about two, after this run my left hip started to hurt, it kind of felt like it was in the inside of the hip but also in the outside, looking at the anatomy of leg muscles Id say is around the TFL. The pain stayed for a couple days and when I rolled my hips and stretched them it felt so much better. I am now more careful about stretching them before and after and have done standing marches with a band around my feet. This has helped and I almost feel no pain after runs but I’ve only gone on short runs, at slow paces because I want to be careful and don’t want to hurt myself, and because I’m not sure that this will solve my issue since it still kind of bothers me when I walk a bit after these short runs, although the pain seems to be mostly in the outside. Let me know if anybody has any idea of what could be going on thank you!
