London Marathon Lottery

If your ballot is selected in the London Marathon Lottery, do you have to accept the entry or can you turn it down? I am wondering if I would be required to pay an entrance fee if I happen to be chosen (I am still up in the air if I even want to run a marathon next year). I’m thinking that if I enter the lottery it might push me to train & just send it but unsure if I will be locked in.
