Hi Philly, I’m Mike, 34, originally from Media right outside Philadelphia (Delco), now in Old City. Grew up rowing on the Schuylkill River for St. Joe’s Prep and continued rowing at Princeton. After college, I joined the Navy and spent a few years on a submarine which severely limited my “outdoor” running. Moved back a few years ago and currently designing commercial nuclear power plants. I enjoy being part of a team sport but have never done a run group before. Usually run as cross training so will be trying to make the occasional Thursday evening runs. I have enjoyed getting the chance to meet a few members of the group already.
