Tibialis Anterior Tendon pain

I have had shin splints (muscle pain) in the past after running with heavy heel striking, but this is the first time feeling the tendon hurt.

I woke up today after running yesterday and had tendon pain from walking. It’s only on the left foot tendon. Not sure how serious this is and what treatment I can do at home by myself.
