NYC Marathon accommodation suggestions

Hey everyone! I will be running NYC marathon this year. I live in Philly for the last one year but very unfamiliar to NYC.

I thought i should book my hotel/airbnb soon. Any suggestions for NYC neighborhoods where I can access to start line easily?
