Reminder and helpful notes for Long Run this Saturday!

Hi Everyone,

We can’t wait for our long run this Saturday with Pacers and New Balance! A few reminders and things to note:


  1. Pacers will be providing Tailwind Nutrition for everyone at the run! Tailwind is a drink mix fueling option, as opposed to a gel or chews. If you’ve never tried it, now is a great time! It’s easiest to fill up a personal handheld water bottle or flask with the mix ( we will have water) so please come prepared with your bottle if possible. There is a 7/11 close by if you forget and want to grab a water bottle. Otherwise we will have cups for folks to drink afterwards.

  2. Shoe Demos! Come 10 or so minutes early if you want to try a pair of New Balance kicks on the run!

  3. Stick around after! Pacers will be talking about nutrition and providing DC Half discount codes. We will also have iced coffee provided by New Balance. ( Thank you New Balance!)

  4. Shorter option! If long runs aren’t your vibe right now, all good! We will be having a 5 mile route option in addition to our longer route.
