Dallas Weekly Announcement (8/4) + Happy 4 Months, Endorphins Dallas <3
Hey fam,
Saturday’s run will be a favorite for a while!!! Bringing the running community in Dallas together to kick off training for the hometown race and celebrating our 4th month here in Dallas was SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Can’t wait to keep training together over the next 19 weeks.
BMW DALLAS MARATHON TRAINING - WEEK 2 “EMBRACE THE ROUTINE”

In case you didn’t know, the Dallas half and full have some SNEAKY hills on the course. I know it’s hard to imagine with how flat Dallas is, but I promise they found every hill we have in town and made the course around them lol. So, this week’s workout is HILLS. Start with an easy warm up of about 30 minutes, then, hit 6 to 8 reps of 1 min run up a hill at 8/10 effort with a 2 to 3 min recovery jog/walk down the hill. We will not have this as an official workout in Circle, however, if this is something you would benefit from, please comment below. We would love for this community to train together as frequently as possible!!!

Please RSVP to our runs as frequently as you can! While this isn’t required, it is extremely helpful for us as City Leads. We often use RSVPs in Circle to help us assess what kind of support we might need for each particular run (ex: pace leads on Saturdays).

We won’t be hosting a long run this day (9/21) to encourage as many of our Endorphriends (see what we did there😉) to register for this race. It’s a great way to practice all things “race day” from packet pick up to on course nutrition/hydration!!! If you’re following along with our training plan for the Dallas Half/Full marathon, mileage for 9/21 will be 6 (half) and 9 (full) miles. We recommend everyone signs up for the “quarter” marathon. Then, those of you training for the full can tack on an extra 3 miles as a group either before or after the race. Post race, you’ll get some of the best running swag around PLUS full access to one of Dallas’s best spots, the Dallas Arboretum!!!
November 28th | Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot (5K or 8 Mile)

December 15th | BMW Dallas Marathon Festival (Mile, 5K or 8K, Half or Full Marathon)
The hometown race!!! Whether you’re tackling your first race ever, new distance, are a Dallas Marathon veteran, or plan to bring the vibes in our cheer zone, we’re setting all sights on the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival this December🤸♀️🎉
FUN NEWS… 🥁 This month, we’re raffling off one free entry for either the 5K or EIGHT K on Saturday AND one free entry for either the Marathon or Half Marathon on Sunday!!!
You will get one entry into the raffle for EVERY run you attend this August. There are 12 more runs on the calendar for August!!! This means 12 more options to have your name entered into the raffle!!!
We will announce the winners at our long run on August 31st!!!
Note: We are working with the Dallas Marathon team to see if we can get someone a refund in the event they win our raffle and have already registered.
More details to come on this weekend, but for now, one thing you can plan on is our shake out run on December 14th at 10AM!!!
