Running w/ Chronic Illness

Hi All! I am new here, I am a junior at NYU (journalism and data science) and former college distance runner.

I was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness. I took some time away from running to focus on recuperating my health and have been slowly getting back into running these past few weeks.

There is a lot (A LOT) of chatter online about endurance exercise and chronic illness and while I tend to think most of that isn’t science backed i wanted to reach out here to see if anyone has experience or knows of resources so that I can better educate myself on getting back into running after some health issues or long distance running with chronic illness!
