Muscle / leg pain

Hi! Wanted to pop in here because I’d love to see if anyone has any knowledge or experience with what I’m experiencing currently. Little history on me - I have grown up a competitive athlete and running, and have run marathons & half’s in the past. I stay active when not training and weight lift too. Back in May, I had started training for a marathon that’s in November. Everything was going great but in the past month, my legs started bothering me. I started cross training to let them take a break incase there was overuse happening, but in the past two weeks it feels like the pain is getting worse and not better. It almost feels like extreme muscle soreness or like every muscle on my legs are bruised. They hurt to massage, and the more I take a break it feels like they get more tender. This is the strangest thing and I feel like everything I’m trying to do to help isn’t helping. Any tips or advice?? Thank you in adance🙏🏻
