Picking up training after Covid
I unfortunately came down with Covid during Week 13 (the final peak week) of the 16 week half marathon plan and have completely paused training. My symptoms were very mild and I’m feeling much better but don’t want to push it with a long run this weekend. I was planning on trying to get in 1-2 easy runs instead. The rest of the plan is the taper. Would it be best to try to do my peak week next week and cut my taper to 2 weeks or skip over this final peak week and pick up at week 14? Thanks in advance for the advice!
