Warm sensation when bending knee
One of my knees has a little bit of an internal warming sensation when I’m sitting down and bending it. I don’t feel pain or discomfort and there is no bruising. For context, I did 22mi 4 days ago, a very light recovery jog the following day, and then a more regular run the next day (yes I know, prob too much mileage back to back). I’ve been doing about 30-45 miles a week for the past 2 months, so I didn’t think much of it. I didn’t run yesterday, am in no pain, and my legs don’t feel weak.
- - - side note: I did a bunch of sets of weighted tib raises on that third day (most of these were warm up sets). Now I’m thinking this could just be light soreness from doing 2 more working sets than what I usually do (I prob do this once or twice a month as a preventative measure for shin splints) - - -
Is this runner’s knee / should I be concerned? Do I need to wait to run again and if so how long?
