Good morning and HAPPY ENDORPHINS MONDAY!!

Today is a big day. We have our 24th community vote. Tldr before we dive in. We host community votes to gather your input on how we shape the future of the community…. This may be the most important vote to date. Together we will define our community values with your input.

The backstory…

Over the past six months, our City Leads have been working behind the scenes to build lightweight systems that will ensure we continue to grow as a cohesive unit, moving in the right direction. Who knew run clubs needed systems lol but here we are!

Since we started Endorphins in 2022, our community has experienced incredible growth. What began as a small, tight-knit group has blossomed into a global network of 20,000 members. It’s truly remarkable to see the positive impact we’ve made—and will continue to make—through our shared love for running and community. We want Endorphins to live for a long time… and as we grow, it's crucial that we stay connected and aligned with our purpose, and that’s why we’re putting a focus on establishing clear processes and structures to support this collective growth. To all the consultants in Endorphins… this exercise is inspired by you 😂!!

Initially, our City Leads considered privately creating a set of values and guidelines, but we realized something important: the strength of Endorphins comes from you and our members, not just its leadership. The end result should reflect the voices of everyone in our community.

With that in mind, we’re excited to announce Community Vote 24—an opportunity for every member to help define and refine the roles, values, and standards that guide us. Your input will shape what it means to be a member of Endorphins, your role within our community, and how we can all work together to carry out our mission of spreading positivity and happiness.

The process is straightforward. In this community vote, you’ll find a Google form with questions about various aspects of our community. We’ll gather and aggregate your feedback to create a shared value system that will be posted within the community for all members, new and old, to see and embrace.

To give you additional context, we’ve already run this exercise twice in the past few months—once with our 50+ City Leads and more recently with our 200+ Pace Leads. You may have noticed the more formal descriptions of roles and responsibilities for these groups, which are now posted in the community. We did this to ensure that as Endorphins grows, we remain connected, united, and continue moving in the same direction.

The next step is to help better define what it means to be a member of Endorphins. Community Vote 24 gives everyone the chance to provide input on this, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Together, we can collectively advance our mission and continue spreading positivity, happiness, and empowerment through running.
