hi there! So at the beginning of this year I did 5 months of PT for my knees. I started in cooperating strength training 3 times a week since April. I have felt expect my long run two weeks ago and today. I get to about mile 10 or 11 and my IT band on my upper right leg starts hurting - not the knee more towards the glute/hip area I guess. Has not hurt on my shorter runs, and I do live in very hilly area so figured that might be causing it? Any advice would help! I’m running the nyc marathon and very worried if I can’t complete my long runs 😔
