Dallas Weekly Announcement (10/21) + Race Day Gear!!!
Hey slayers - I hope everyone’s having a GREAT start to their week. Just wanted to remind everyone of why we’re gathering week to week: to spread positivity and happiness through movement and exercise. That’s the whole reason Endorphins exists and it truly has been SO👏 FUN👏 sharing so many miles and smiles these last 6 months. Alright… We’ve got some HYPE things on the calendar this week, so let’s dive in.
RUNS + HANGS THIS WEEK (10/21-10/26)
Endorphins Monday Morning | 5:30 AM at Fairgrounds Coffee (4 miles). Post run hang at Fairgrounds Coffee.
Wednesday Evening Run | 6:30 PM at Cityline Station in Richardson (3 miles). Post run hang at Good Union Urban BBQ.
Thursday Morning Run | 5:30 AM at Fairgrounds Coffee (4 miles). Post run hang at Fairgrounds Coffee.
Saturday Morning Long Run | 7 AM at LDU Coffee (2 mile walk; 10 & 13.5 mile runs). Post run hang at LDU Coffee on Garland Road.
This run - we’re going to PINK OUT (💗🎀💓) White Rock Lake for breast cancer awareness month.
A member of our community reached out to us asking if we could do a pink out run in honor of her mom who is currently going through chemo after a breast cancer diagnosis.
Free apples and coffee (up to $200) courtesy of Yes! Apples.
Upon arrival Saturday, find Karrington to scan a QR Code that will take you to a Google Form to fill out with your drink order. In order to make it fair, this will be a first come, first serve basis to ensure members in each pace group have equal opportunities at the free coffee post run!
If you have them, bring a lawn chair to sit in outside of LDU so we don’t take up too much of their business space!
REP ENDORPHINS ON RACE DAY
Having team gear for race day is a way that we can all be united despite living in different parts of the country and world. We hope that when you rep any Endorphins gear, it gives you that extra boost of P&H (positivity and happiness) energy so you can have amazing races⚡💙
@Tyler Swartz worked tirelessly to track down our race day gear amidst all of the port strikes!!! The goal is to have items ready for purchase on 10/24 at 9AM ET (8AM CST). This should give all of us racing in a November or December race a chance to get Endorphins gear while supplies last!!! ps: All members of Endorphins 365 will be given access a day early to ensure you can get any race day gear before we potentially run out👀

BMW DALLAS MARATHON TRAINING - Week 13 “Endurance Elevation”

This week’s workout: 6-8 reps of 90 second hill sprints @ 8/10 effort. 2-3 min recovery jog down the hill. We will not have an official workout in Circle, however, if you want to run your workouts alongside others in the community, post in the Dallas home space when you plan to do your workout!!! We would love for this community to train together as frequently as possible.
