What is normal recovery post marathon?
I ran Chicago 10 days ago now and I still feel muscle pain in my hamstrings, glutes and quads when I attempt a slow easy run and try to lift weights.
Is it normal to still feel like this over a week after a marathon? It’s really frustrating to not be able to get back to normal movement especially watching everyone around me feel ok within the week.
For context I did race full effort especially the last few miles
