Top of foot pain
Hi! Currently in an off-season for training, but trying to continue building a good base and maintaining mid-high weekly mileage for marathon training in the spring. I did a 9 mile run this weekend and experienced some pretty bad discomfort on the top of my left foot, I kept stopping to re-tie my shoes thinking that was the issue but it would only help for a minute or so. It doesn’t hurt when I’m going about daily activities, but it’s been 4 days and anytime I put on a pair of running shoes (even different styles/brands from Saturday) I experience super sharp pains throughout my foot and ankle. Any advice on recovery/preventative measures?
