December Updates❄️

Hello DC Endorphins Community!!! It’s your city leads here checking in to share some exciting announcements and events to look forward to as we move into the winter season. First, we want to congratulate everyone who raced this past summer/fall, and send good luck to those who have races coming in the next few weeks! We are all so proud!

Now for some EXCITING updates for the calendar this season!

Here are our updates for December:

  1. WEEKLY HAPPY HOUR RUNS! We are so excited to implement weekly happy hour runs on Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Aslin Beer Company on 14th Street NW. This is a great way to get outside, run 3 miles, and socialize now that the sun sets so early. We hope to collaborate with Aslin as we go through the winter to bring some special deals for those who come run with us and hang out afterward! Join us tomorrow!

  2. BIWEEKLY SATURDAY LONG RUNS! Long runs will be back on a biweekly schedule this December. Look out for our first LR back on December 7th at 9 AM as we team up with Pacers Running. LR will be closer to the 7-8 mile range as majority requested in our November CV! More details to come soon.

  3. JINGLE BELL RUN!!! Pacer’s Jingle Bell Run 2024 is officially around the corner. The race is on December 15th, 2024 with a 5K and a 15K option. We encourage you all to sign up for the 15K! Come party pace with us as we rock our holiday gear or get out there and PR your 15K—either way, it will be a great time!   4. HILL WORKOUTS! We are excited to bring monthly hill workouts to Endorphins. Look out for more information on the Group Runs page in the coming days, but one Tuesday a month, Brooke will be leading a hill workout to help us all get stronger this winter. 

  5. STRENGTH SESSION! Also be on the lookout for a weekend strength session this December, coming soon in collaboration with District Performance & Physio. 

  6. HOLIDAY PARTY! Mark your calendars for the evening of December 7th for a social event. More details to come soon.
