Hey everyone!
I’m Victoria (or vic or Vicky)! I joined this group because I want to get back into running and hopefully build up better endurance and no better way to do that than running in a group with some awesome people:)
I’m originally from Upstate, NY but recently moved to Midtown East post-undergrad for a job! I am definitely excited to start joining some runs in Central Park.
I ran track in college, but I was a sprinter and was never a huge long distance runner. I have also never run more than a 5K race so my goal is to run a half marathon and maybe even a marathon in 2023! If anyone has any advice on pacing I am all ears because that’s the biggest challenge I face when I go for a run. I’m always in the sprinter mindset of going as fast as I can and get tired out pretty early on.
I don’t have a strava but it might be time to get one as I dive into my new running goals:)
