Long Endorphins Update!
HI Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year. Personally, I have taken the past 2+ weeks to reset mentally and reflect on my previous year while also get my plans in order for 2023. As it relates to Endorphins and this community, I spent countless hours wrestling with the vision and future direction of this group. For purposes of honesty and transparency, part of me really was unsure if I would continue growing this group. Hosting 20+ group runs took a bit of a toll on me haha! And another huge part of me obviously feels deeply connected to you all what we have built in such a short amount of time. The tug o war match lasted longer than I would have liked, but I have finally come to my senses on where my head is at.
I'd like to continue hosting group runs on a weekly cadence (either Monday or Thursday tbd)! I can't commit to personally hosting 3+ group runs a week. With that being said, I am speaking to some other ambitious members of the community about hosting runs to hopefully offset some of the commitment. There is a group of people that have agreed to helping with runs. If you'd like to be added to the group just let me know.
Also - a few members had the great idea of promoting other public / quality run clubs. If you are in an existing run club that is open to new faces, let me know and we can list their runs in the group run section!
At the end of the day, being able to support runners in person in NYC and virtually across the world is really cool and I am excited to continue getting after it with you all.
Also - I will be sending out details for a group happy hour in the next few days. Stay on the look out for that. Can serve as a little kick off for the year a head! Hope to see you there :)
Only the best,
Tyler ⚡
