Knee bruising / swelling!
Hi hi! I’m struggling with how to make the correct call on return to running post-injury — I took a hard fall Monday and banged up my knee. Went to the doctor and got checked out, they said no breaks or tissue tears but just to ice my knee and that I was free to begin running again once the swelling has gone down as long as it doesn’t hurt. I expected to feel pretty poorly the following days but it’s been feeling really good all things considered, some tenderness but mostly from the actual surface level scrapes…looking for any advice on how to safely make decisions on when and how to return to training and how best to proceed with that!
