Lower Ab/Front Pelvic Pain
Sad to report that I've been suffering from some odd lower ab/front pelvic pain (basically where the leg and torso meet at the front. It is only on one side.
It started a week ago during a 60 min easy run (started around 40 mins into the run). I finished the run and then took the next two days off. That weeks volume was trending higher than previous weeks (I was projecting to do 35 miles vs my usual 28-30)... After two days off I went on the EPIC Endorphins run. I did 15 miles (no pain until around mile 12) and then only minor pain through the finish. No specific pain for the rest of the day, other than just overall soreness due to the longer run.
Did a shake out the following day and experienced pain 1 mile in. Stopped running.
Did a 45 min speed workout Tuesday, no pain during the workout but pain after that continued through the day.
Now I'm experiencing pain as soon as I start to run. So I've been taking it easy and resting... focusing on doing some supportive workout at the gym.
I'm signed up for the Brooklyn Half in May, but I'm getting a lil nervous this isn't going away anytime soon and that I really shouldn't be running if it is hurting...
Any recommendations?
Sorry so wordy.
