Hi everyone - so stoked to virtually meet you all! My name is Lauren and I am 26 y/o and live in a East Village. Today I accomplished my first official (and very rainy) half marathon - NYC Runs BK half (see pic below!) It was such an awesome experience. I’ve been running on and off since post grad and figured it was time to do an official race. I lived in Venice, CA for a few months during Covid and found such a strong community with Venice run club and am looking for something similar in NYC. My running goal is to break under 2 hours at my next half and meet like minded people. I actually met a really awesome person (s/o to Preeya) on the subway after my race who encouraged me to check out this club so I can’t wait to run with y’all soon!
