Community Vote #10 - Talking $$
Hey everyone!
Another week. Another community vote!
For anyone new to Endorphins. We do a weekly community vote where we ask questions sourced by the group. Then we take the feedback and do our best to implement it. This ensures we continue building this fun community with your best interest in mind!
This one will be a bit different. We are talking money lol. Lets get down to brass tax haha.
We hosted an Endorphins Happy Hour last week in NYC. In Community Vote 5 we voted on pricing for tickets. Despite the majority saying they would pay to attend the event, we decided to go with "pay what you can" style via venmo... this promoted a more inclusive environment... and that is what Endorphins is all about!
This resulted in us raising $1,218.00 (wtf haha thats crazy) for the event and fully covering our costs... and then some. We spent $966.20 in total.
also side note... we had people venmo'ing all crazy amounts of decimals (chaotic but I love it)... the fact that venmo'd $15.07 to round the total amount out... i see you!!!

Breakdown:
- $666.20 on food / gratuities
- $300 on an NYU photographer.... lmfao I am laughing because we had insane artist level photographers in the room s/o
and .... and was not expecting them to break out their cameras.... and obviously they got the best pics of the evening smh. live and ya learn.
Simple math time. $1,218 - $966.20... we have $251.80 left over. Not too much. But we said we would be transparent about accounting and here we are lol. Now begs the question... what should we do with the money?
Also here is my bank statement. It is funny. Yes... I go to the Russian Bathhouse lol. And yes. I actually use Huron... not an Ad... just the damn truthhhh
